From the Kitchen: Iced Christmas Cookies

Every year for Christmas my mom makes upwards of 25 different kinds of cookies. This year she put me in charge of decorating the sugar cookies. I couldn’t very well just slop on the icing like I think she expected me to do, so this is what I came up with:

We’ve got mittens…

Santa hats and candy canes…

polka dot packages…

glittery stars…

light bulbs…

ornaments…

wreaths…

and Christmas trees…

All in all, it took me about 12 hours to ice them and I couldn’t be happier with the time spent. Did you make any cookies this year??
